Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: - Electrical Design: Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for new projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct tests on electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions. - Project Management: Oversee electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and meeting specifications. - System Installation and Maintenance: Supervise electrical system installation and provide ongoing maintenance for optimal performance and safety. - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into larger systems and ensure project success. - Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for electrical designs, schematics, and procedures to ensure accurate records for compliance and future reference. - Safety Compliance: Ensure that electrical systems and designs comply with safety codes, regulations, and industry standards. - Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest quality standards in all electrical systems, components, and installations. - Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and advancements and suggest improvements to existing systems. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. - Experience in electrical engineering, with hands-on experience in electrical system design, testing, and installation. - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, control systems, and power distribution. - Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, MATLAB, etc. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Desirable Skills: - Professional Engineer (PE) certification or relevant industry certifications. - Experience with renewable energy systems or power generation projects. - Knowledge of automation, control systems, or instrumentation. - Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental standards. - Strong project management skills.
