Electrical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Electrical Engineer with strong design and project execution skills. The candidate will be responsible for designing electrical panels and systems, preparing drawings and documentation, coordinating with production and site teams, and ensuring successful implementation at client sites.

Design Responsibilities:

Design LT/HT panels, MCCs, PCCs, APFC panels, and automation/control panels as per project requirements. Select appropriate switchgear components (MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, meters, etc.) based on load and application. Develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material specifications, and panel layouts.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for design approvals.

Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical standards (IS, IEC, etc.) and safety codes.

Execution Responsibilities:

Plan and oversee site installation, cabling, termination, and commissioning of electrical systems.

Provide technical guidance to site teams and resolve design or installation issues.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients for smooth project execution.

Prepare as-built drawings and documentation after project completion

Preferred candidate profile

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Diploma holders with strong design experience may also apply).

Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in electrical panel design, drafting, and site execution.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN / similar design software.

Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, control circuits, and load calculations.

Familiarity with switchgear selection, cable sizing, protection coordination, and electrical safety standards.

Understanding of panel manufacturing processes and on-site electrical work.

Soft Skills: Good communication and documentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Problem-solving mindset and willingness to visit project sites when required.
