Responsibilities

Independent drawing preparation in 2D :

Electrical Drafting of Lighting , Small Power, Earthing , equipment placement plan, LPS, Cable tray drawing, trunking, busduct drawings , external street pole lighting, External - HV/LV/ELV cable routing & level co-ordination , earth pit drawing, along with the identification of equipment etc. DB schedule & load list preparation. Well conversant with standards. 

Preparation of Power Single Line Diagram for Main Power Distribution Scheme. 

Preparation of Main Incomer Substation Layout, Load Centre Layout & MCC room layout. 

Preparation of Process & Instrumentation Diagram, Control Configuration, Block Interlock Diagram, C&I Typical Interconnection Diagram, Scheme Wiring Diagram. 

Analyses and interpret project blueprints, technical drawings, and other project specifications 

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project completion 

Adhere to established design standards and specifications for electrical systems 

Conduct site visits and surveys to gather essential project information 

Identify and rectify design flaws and system errors 

Maintain accurate record and documentation of project design information 

Supplier Drawings review 

Cable tray route designing based on tender tentative equipment location. Cable tray sizing. Cable tray co-ordination wrt other services for achieving the cable tray mounting heights. 

SLD preparation based on the provided load list by engineer. SLD differentiation wrt the tender load & the approved equipment loads. Updating highlighting & seeking approval from client consultant etc. 

Seeking approval from Client/consultant on the prepared drawings. Independently prepare the comment incorporated drawing & releasing of GFC drawings to site for execution, 

Busduct routing identification & the co-ordination wrt other services. 

BOM preparation wrt the services layed in the drawing. Co-ordinate with site team for preparation of error free drawings, which must be executable at site. 

Qualifications

Proven work experience as an Electrical Draughtsman or similar role 

Strong knowledge of CAD software and other engineering design tools 

Excellent understanding of electrical systems and electrical engineering concepts 

Familiarity with design specifications and electrical engineering codes 

Exceptional technical drawing skills 

Attention to detail and problem-solving ability 

Excellent communication and team management skills 

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Draughtsman, Electrical Engineering or relevant field
