Job Title: Electrical Designer / ELV Engineer Experience Required: 2+ Years Location: Bangalore Department: MEP / Design / Electrical Reports to: Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Designer / ELV Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in commercial projects. The candidate should be proficient in designing electrical and ELV systems for high-rise buildings, office spaces, and other commercial establishments. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical layouts including lighting, power, earthing, and ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, BMS, etc.). Prepare load calculations, cable sizing, and single-line diagrams . Ensure compliance with local electrical codes , safety standards, and project specifications. Coordinate with architects, HVAC, plumbing, and civil teams to integrate electrical/ELV designs. Prepare and review BOQs, technical submittals , and shop drawings . Attend site meetings, resolve site issues, and provide technical support during installation. Use AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and other design tools for documentation. Support procurement team by reviewing vendor technical offers for ELV systems.
