Job Description

Urgent Hiring for !!! Electrical Design Engineer !!! for one of the leading solar industry .

Key Responsibilities:-

Conduct initial site assessments and feasibility studies for solar, LED, and energy-saving projects.
Develop electrical system designs (layouts, one-lines, schematics) using tools like AutoCAD, and PVsyst or equivalent for solar design.
Specify componentspanels, inverters, switchgear, protection systems, cablingand coordinate vendor engagement.
Create detailed technical documentation: electrical drawings, load calculations, BOQs, and material specifications.
Support installation, perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, project, and operations teams from concept to commissioning.

Qualifications:-

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering; Masters preferred.
Experience in electrical design for renewable energy (especially solar PV) or energy-efficient systems.
Proficiency with tools like AutoCAD, PVsyst (solar modeling), and general electrical design software.
Solid understanding of power systems, protection mechanisms, grounding, and power quality improvement techniques.
Awareness of relevant electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC as applicable).
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience:-

Prior work in EPC projectsparticularly in solar PV installations, LED retrofits, or energy audits.
Exposure to energy modeling, power quality analysis, or lighting automation.
Familiarity with commissioning, testing protocols, and maintenance procedures is a plus.
