We have multiple openings for Electrical Design Engineer - Solar with one of our US Based client.

Our client founded in 2012 and accelerates United States solar, battery storage and EV projects by providing turnkey development as a service including 100% internal systems engineering. The company deploys a leading team that spun out of the largest solar power producer in the world.

Company has fully commoditized renewable energy project development-as-a-service (DaaS), including 100% internal systems engineering and Construction-as-a-Service (CaaS). Company support developers, builders, land-owners and financers through any portion of project execution, including turnkey delivery of built assets.

Education:

Job responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Good experience in solar design engineering, renewable energy, or related roles.
• Proficiency in solar design software and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic technologies, components, and system design.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, grid integration, and energy storage.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards in the solar energy industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Collaborate with project teams to design and optimize solar energy systems.
• Utilize solar design software and simulation tools to model system performance.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for potential solar projects.
• Design solar photovoltaic systems considering technical, economic, and regulatory factors.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards in solar designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solar systems into projects.
• Evaluate and select appropriate solar components and equipment for installations.
• Review and analyze solar system performance data to recommend improvements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Provide technical support during the project development and installation phases.
• Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, reports, and presentations.
• Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions with team members.
• Adapt solar designs based on evolving project requirements and constraints.
• Support the evaluation of project costs, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and innovation in solar design.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address technical inquiries and challenges.
• Stay informed about advancements in solar technology and design practices.
• Foster relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Adapt to changing project scopes and provide design-related insights.
• Participate in site inspections and assessments to support project progress.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Adapt to new tools, software, and techniques in solar design engineering.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and project files.
