Our client is Gujarat's no. 1 contracting company and multidisciplinary construction company offering a diversified range of construction and allied services across industrial, institutional, government, government residential and residential projects in India. It provides its services across the construction value chain, ranging from planning and design to construction and post-construction activities, including MEP work and other interior fit outs to private and public sector enterprises. Historically, it was more focused on projects in the Gujarat region. More recently, it has actively expanded its geographical presence to other states and diversified its portfolio of services.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE WORKED IN CONTRACTING COMPANY FOR BUILDING PROJECTS(EPC).

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce company-wide Quality Policy, Manuals, SOPs, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Formulate and monitor the quality assurance strategy aligned with project delivery goals.
• Ensure company-wide compliance with ISO and other relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Oversee QA/QC planning for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Review and approve project-specific quality plans, ITPs, method statements, and material approvals.
• Conduct quality risk assessments at project inception.
• Monitor execution to ensure strict adherence to technical specifications, drawings and BOQs.
• Supervise QA/QC engineers deployed at sites and conduct periodic quality audits.
• Manage laboratory testing (internal/external) and ensure material quality checks and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and third-party inspectors regarding quality-related matters.
• Address non-conformities and ensure closure through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Plans (CAPA).
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance with BIS, CPWD, and other construction norms.
• Maintain and present quality performance dashboards to top management.
• Prepare monthly quality review reports and NCR summaries.
• Support project closure documentation and quality-related certifications.
• Mentor and train QA/QC teams for enhanced technical competence.
• Organize workshops on quality standards, best practices and continuous improvement.
• Build a culture of quality consciousness across all function.

Preferred candidate profile:

• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering materials and construction methods.
• Expertise in ISO standards, BIS codes, QA/QC tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in QA/QC software tools and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams across locations.
