Electrical Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide IMC Rack design support with expertise in:
• Power Distribution Schematics
• Cable Harness Design
• OMS (Operational Method Sheets)
• Electrical Component Selection
• Design and develop control systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
• Select electrical components based on international standards such as

  CE, UL, NEMA, RoHS

  , etc.
• Create and review cable harness designs using

  AutoCAD

  .
• Design electrical panels, E-boxes, and power distribution boxes with adherence to safety and compliance requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with

  IEC / CE / NFPA-79 standards

  ,

  SEMI-S2

  , and other relevant industry standards.
• Perform electrical calculations such as:
• Power calculations
• Load calculations
• Thermal calculations where applicable
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and timely project execution.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all electrical designs.

Required Experience

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design for industrial/automation systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical standards and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and cable harness development tools.
