Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities AC & DC design which includes string sizing calculations, Cable sizing, SLD preparation, calculate the rating of switchgear and protection required in the system, Earthing Calculations, LA calculations. To Prepare all design drawings, perform calculations, and deliver to the projects team. BOM and RFQ preparation of entire solar power plant based on detailed site survey inputs. Perform detailed site assessments and feasibility studies. PVsyst report preparation for estimation the Yield Generation for the solar plant, Fluent in PVsyst. Knowledge of Electrical equipments like - Transformer, LT & HT Panels, ACDB, DCDB/SCB'S etc. Knowledge of different types of modules, inverters & Mounting structures. Optimization/Standardization of design Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst & MS Office. Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and safety regulations. Coordination with project execution team for installation aspects & Procurement team for design aspects. Assist with DC and AC MV design tasks as guided by senior engineers. Understands the results of basic tests on PV modules and electrical systems. Collaborates with engineering teams to implement efficiency improvements based on data analysis and review of design philosophy/standards. Able to communicate effectively with all levels within the enterprise in a clear and professional manner. Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in PV solar electrical designing in a reputed design/engineering consultancy organization or with leading EPC companies of solar power plants/ infrastructure. Knowledge of various electrical Indian & International standards. Education Qualification / Additional Certifications: BE/B Tech in Electrical Engineering from any reputed engineering college
