Job Title: ELV Technician / Engineer / Project Manager Location: Chennai Company: POWERCONZ PRIVATE LIMITED Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled ELV Technician/Engineer to join our team. Candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Extra Low Voltage systems, The ELV Technician/Engineer will ensure that all systems are designed and implemented to meet client specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Public Address (PA), Fire Alarm, IT passive networks, and Building Management Systems (BMS) - Conduct site surveys to understand project requirements. - Prepare system schematics, layouts, and detailed technical drawings using CAD or other design software. - Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated system designs. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ELV systems during installation and maintenance. - Oversee the installation of ELV systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. - Maintain accurate records of system installations, modifications, and maintenance activities. - Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting. -Manpower handling skill, interaction with client, Qualifications: - Diploma or degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in the design and installation of ELV systems. - Knowledge of relevant codes and standards for ELV systems (e.g., NFPA, NEC). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Familiarity with project management principles is a plus. Preferred Skills: - Experience with integrated building management systems (BMS). - Knowledge of network infrastructure and structured cabling. - Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., CCTV, fire alarm, access control) is a plus.
