Mechanical Site Engineer Job Description Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Scheduling: Plan and schedule mechanical activities, coordinating with clients, project departments, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution. Installation & Supervision: Oversee the installation of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and medical gas systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all mechanical works meet quality standards and are executed as per approved drawings and methods. Resource Management: Estimate and assign resources including manpower, materials, and equipment required for mechanical works. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, inspection requests, and final closure reports. Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns related to mechanical installations. Team Leadership: Lead and provide technical support to mechanical workgroups on-site, ensuring effective collaboration with other disciplines like electrical and civil teams. Safety Compliance: Ensure all mechanical works adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.
