Electrical and Instrumentation Manager

As a Manager Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) at this Construction / EPC / Oil & Gas company based in Mumbai, your role will involve leading and managing the Electrical & Instrumentation scope in construction projects from planning to commissioning. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing detailed project plans, technical specifications, BOQs, and drawings. Additionally, you will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams for the timely delivery of E&I activities. Your duties will also include reviewing vendor/subcontractor proposals and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. Supervising site E&I works, including installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, control panels, instrumentation devices, cable trays, and junction boxes will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards such as IEC, IS, ATEX, etc., troubleshooting technical issues, resolving field engineering queries, preparing progress reports, cost tracking, and material consumption analysis, as well as liaising with clients, consultants, and statutory bodies for inspections, approvals, and handover are also key aspects of this role. Qualifications required: - B.E./B.Tech in Electrical. In addition, you should possess the following skills and competencies: - In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and PLC/SCADA interfacing. - Strong project management and team leadership skills. - Familiarity with AutoCAD, ETAP, MS Project/Primavera is a plus. - Knowledge of electrical safety standards and hazardous area classification. - Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
