Job Description

Position: Electrical RCM Engineer
Location: __________
Experience: 10 – 112 Years (Oil & gas, Power Plant / Industrial background preferred)

Job Summary

The Electrical RCM Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies for electrical systems to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct RCM analysis on critical electrical equipment such as transformers, HT/LT panels, motors, generators, switchgear, and protection systems.
Develop and update Preventive, Predictive, and Condition-Based Maintenance plans.
Identify failure modes using FMEA / RCA techniques and recommend corrective actions.
Analyze equipment history and breakdown data to improve maintenance strategies.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to implement RCM findings on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (IEC, IEEE, IS).
Support shutdown planning and equipment reliability improvement projects.
Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and maintenance KPIs.
