EHS - Manager

Candidate should have Chemical/API company background

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
• Monitor and control treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of ETP equipment.
• Ensure all documentation and reporting are accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve plant efficiency.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on ETP operations and safety procedures.
• Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
• Record keeping and documentation of EHS related work.
• Ensuring contractors safety programme.
• Developing and implementing a plan to correct or prevent a loss and audit the plan to ensure effectiveness.
• Proactively Perform EHS audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Ensure timely investigation of environmental, health and safety incidents, root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective action plans.
• Development of pollution and waste control programs.
• Evaluate safety of new processes and equipment.
• Evaluate hazards for safety, health, and environmental risks and ensure the development of Job Hazard Analyses for defined tasks.
• EHS Legal compliance as per local rules and regulation
• Conduct & prepare Risk assessment of all the department
• Looking after all Process Safety Management elements (HIRA, PSSR, JSA, Form-9, 10 & 11, etc.)
• Looking after all Workplace Safety Elements (PPEs, safe work practices)
• Chemical Safety & Lab practice and scale up lab safety
