Job Description

Location: Nagercoil
Position: Educational Counsellor

Qualification: Degree / Master’s in Psychology / Education (BA/MA Psychology, B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Sc Psychology preferred)
Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers with counselling exposure can apply)

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students on academic pathways, course selection, and career options
Assess students’ interests, aptitude, and learning abilities
Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions
Guide students and parents on admissions, exams, and educational planning
Maintain student counselling records and follow-ups
Coordinate with teachers, management, and academic teams
Support students with motivation, confidence, and goal setting

Required Skills:

Strong counselling and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of psychology principles and student behavior
Good communication skills (English & Tamil preferred)
Ability to handle students and parents professionally
Basic computer skills (MS Office / CRM)

Preferred Profile:

Background in Educational / Child Psychology
Experience in schools, colleges, or educational institutions
Passion for student development and guidance
