Editorial Coordinator

As an Editor at our magazine, you will be responsible for various editorial tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the publication. Your key responsibilities will include: Having a thorough understanding of the magazine, its editorial content, and all necessary information to effectively communicate with new writers and guest writers. You will receive briefs from the Editor to facilitate this process. Coordinating with writers to ensure that articles are submitted on time. You will receive regular editorial status updates outlining any necessary follow-ups. Sending out questionnaires to respondents for all features and ensuring timely responses are obtained. Sourcing and providing contact details for writers when needed. Following up on the submission of all required photographs for articles in the issue. Creating an Issue Report at the conclusion of each edition, following a specified format. Tracking and preparing for future issues in addition to the current one. Compiling a database of contacts (organized by industry) for each issue and sharing it with the Executive Editor and Managing Editor. Maintaining a database of questionnaires used in the publication. Acting as a liaison between external parties and the magazine to facilitate effective communication. Scheduling interviews for the Executive Editor. Ensuring that the complimentary list and client data sheets are updated monthly. Assisting in the coordination of agreements for important events such as seminars or exhibitions for magazine distribution, in collaboration with the GM - Admin. Supporting branch offices by providing databases to advertising managers for upcoming features and events. Coordinating the sending and receiving of editorial materials. This position is open to both freshers and individuals with up to 1 year of experience in the field.
