Job Description

Job Summary:

Edge Computing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy
edge computing frameworks and architectures
for IoT and real-time systems.
Build and integrate
data processing pipelines
that run efficiently on edge devices.
Collaborate with software, cloud, and network teams to
optimize workloads between edge and cloud environments
.
Implement and manage
containerized applications
using Docker, Kubernetes, or K3s at the edge.
Work with
real-time analytics, AI/ML inference models, and sensor data processing
on edge nodes.
Optimize
network latency, bandwidth, and device communication
for distributed systems.
Develop
security mechanisms
for data transmission, authentication, and access control at the edge.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Experience with
5G edge and MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing)
platforms.
Familiarity with
edge hardware systems
such as Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, or Intel NUC.
Knowledge of
real-time operating systems (RTOS)
and embedded Linux environments.
Exposure to
DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation
.
Awareness of
cybersecurity principles for edge and IoT systems
.
Contributions to
open-source or edge computing communities
.
