About the Role:

Oracle EBS Testing Techno-Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and convert them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases for Oracle EBS applications.
  
• Perform

  functional

  ,

  integration

  ,

  regression

  , and

  performance testing

  on Oracle EBS modules, especially

  Financials (AP, AR, GL, etc.)

  .
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to validate end-to-end workflows.
  
• Write and execute

  SQL and PL/SQL scripts

  to prepare test data and verify backend data integrity.
• Identify, log, and manage defects using tools like

  JIRA

  , and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Participate in daily Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  
• Support

  UAT

  (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate with end-users to validate business requirements.
• Provide inputs for performance and load testing, and leverage performance testing tools when applicable.
  
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test plans, scripts, and reports.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of experience in Oracle EBS testing, with strong exposure to

  financial modules (Payables, Receivables, GL, etc.)

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  testing methodologies

  and best practices.
• Hands-on expertise in writing and optimizing

  SQL and PL/SQL queries

  .
• Experience with

  defect tracking tools

  such as

  JIRA

  , HP ALM, or equivalent.
• Excellent

  analytical

  and

  problem-solving

  skills to troubleshoot and identify root causes.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Experience working in

  Agile environments

  and participating in sprints.
• Ability to work independently in a remote and collaborative team environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  performance testing tools

  (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter) is a plus.
• Knowledge of additional Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Procurement, Inventory) is desirable.
  
• ISTQB or other testing certifications.
