Schedule: 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)

Key Responsibilities

The teacher will be responsible for creating a warm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where young learners can thrive.

• Foundational Reading Instruction:

  Design and deliver engaging lessons focused on

  phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary development, and sight words

  for small groups of children (ages 3-7).

• Creative Learning:

  Lead fun, interactive reading games, educational activities, and imaginative storytime sessions to make learning exciting and memorable.

• Classroom Management:

  Create a safe, encouraging, and highly interactive learning space that fosters curiosity and confidence in every child.

• Assessment & Feedback:

  Observe and assess children's progress in reading skills, providing constructive feedback to parents and tailoring instruction to meet individual needs.

• Parent Communication:

  Maintain open and positive communication with parents regarding their child's development and how they can support reading at home.

• Curriculum Preparation:

  Organize teaching materials and prepare the learning area for afternoon sessions.

What We're Looking For (Requirements)

• Experience:

  Proven experience working with children in the

  3 to 7 years age group

  in a teaching or educational support capacity (e.g., teaching assistant, pre-school teacher, tutor).

• Knowledge:

  Strong, demonstrable knowledge of

  early literacy principles, systematic phonics instruction

  , and child development stages.

• Skills:

• Energetic & Creative:

  Must bring high energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to every session.

• Patience & Warmth:

  Exceptional patience and a genuinely friendly, nurturing demeanor are essential.

• Communication:

  Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.

• Availability:

  Must be available to work 6 days a week,

  Monday to Saturday
