E- Commerce Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Strategy & Growth

  : Develop and execute e-commerce strategies, set sales targets, and create promotional plans.

• Platform Management

  : Manage online storefronts, marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart), and product listings, optimizing for visibility and sales.

• Digital Marketing

  : Oversee SEO, SEM, social media, and email campaigns to drive traffic and engagement.

• Operations

  : Coordinate with inventory, logistics, and customer service for smooth order fulfilment and a seamless customer journey.

• Data & Analysis

  : Monitor KPIs (conversion rates, AOV, traffic) using tools like Google Analytics to make data-driven decisions.

• User Experience (UX)

  : Ensure website design, functionality, and security provide a great customer experience.

• Team Coordination

  : Work with cross-functional teams (IT, Marketing, Sales) to align goals and resolve issues.

Preferred skills and experience:

• Digital Marketing:

  SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, paid ads.

• Data Analysis:

  Interpreting Google Analytics, sales data, customer behaviour for actionable insights.

• E-commerce Platforms:

  Expertise in Shopify and marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra).

• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

  A/B testing, user experience (UX/UI).

• Inventory/Supply Chain:

  Stock management, product information management (PIM).

• Customer Focus:

  Understanding customer needs and ensuring a great experience.

• Data-Driven:

  Making decisions based on analytics.

• Strategic Thinking:

  Forecasting trends and planning long-term.

• Continuous Learning:

  Staying updated in the fast-paced e-commerce world.

• Experience:

  Should have been responsible for revenue targets.
