Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce and Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our online business, focusing primarily on managing our Shopify store, handling customer interactions, and ensuring efficient inventory management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in e-commerce, a strong understanding of online retail platforms, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

E-commerce Operations & Administration

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Shopify store, including product updates, theme maintenance (basic), and app integration.
  • Perform various e-commerce tasks to support sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials and basic visual content using tools like Canva.
  • Process and confirm customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Inventory & Product Listing

  • Maintain accurate Shopify inventory levels, monitoring stock and coordinating with procurement to prevent stockouts.
  • Manage and optimize product listings across various e-commerce platforms, including but not limited to Flipkart, Amazon, and our Shopify store.
  • Ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are current and compelling across all channels.

Customer Service

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via email, chat, or phone.
  • Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints promptly and professionally, focusing on resolution and satisfaction.
  • Contact customers to confirm orders and resolve any discrepancies or fulfillment issues.
  • Maintain a high standard of communication, representing the brand positively in all interactions.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven work experience (minimum 1 year preferred) in an e-commerce or online retail environment.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Shopify is mandatory.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing online customer service and achieving high satisfaction ratings.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with product listing and optimization on major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate inventory management.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva for basic content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and local language, if required).
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
