Dynatrace Lead

Role Description

The role holder will be responsible for providing overall L3 Dynatrace administration support for the team.

Qualification & Experience

• B. Tech / BE
• 10 + years of relevant experience
• Delivery of quality, cost-effective infrastructure services in a complex & high availability environment
• Proven ability to plan and execute workload in a pressurized & dynamic environment.
• ITIL Certified or a strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management disciplines.

Skills Required

Technical skills

• Strong Knowledge in Dynatrace tool administration concepts.
• Experience on APM related areas on Java, .NET and PHP
• Ability to direct and guide team to resolve crisis situations within prescribed SLAs
• Ability to provide consultation for new projects, functionalities, migrations, upgrades.
• Ability to direct and guide team to resolve crisis situations within prescribed SLAs

• Ability to plan, initiate and manage special tasks/projects.

Analytical skills

• Good analytical, trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.

Process skills

• Ability to resolve service requests. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes.
• Strong Knowledge of ITSM processes

Other skills

• Customer interface experience (managing expectations; negotiating compromise solutions).
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skill.
• Should be willing to work in a 24*7 environment.
• Experience in team handling.

1. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performance tuning of Dynatrace application and finding automation methods
2. Configuring the Collectors ,Web agents, Host agents
3. Train users on best practices and Dynatrace features to proactively monitor performance in their environment as well as use the product to identify bottlenecks as needed
4. Function as a front-line technical resource for 'best practice' and informal questions
5. Design and develop innovative solutions to integrate Dynatrace in customer environment and make it a part of their day-to-day operations
6. Ensure and document full deployment of Dynatrace product in customer environment
7. Help document best practices in developing and deploying Dynatrace in customer environment.
8. Manage competing requests across simultaneous engagements
9. Have the ability to manage team and a setup of 450+ JVMSs
10. Generate and analyze thread Dump
11. Providing performance tuning suggestion to application team on basis of reports
12. Working on Methods with offshore team in order to configure the dashboard
13. Taking transaction count per hour as per application
14. Host and process health Analysis
15. Dynatrace Database Health Analysis.
16. Interface proactively with other Infrastructure support teams such as UNIX, Windows, Network, Storage, etc.
17. Document issues and associated resolutions to problems
18. Prepare documentation and presentation of progress reports to customers
19. Conduct users, customers and Teams training
20. Guide/Mentor the team members on technical problems which cannot be resolved at their level
21. Ensure that Systems, Organization processes, & Unit practices adhere to Organization policies
22. Active participation in Organization and Unit level initiatives
