• Responsible for entire

  SMS, Rolling Mill

  , Bright Bar, Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance.
• To manage operations of EAF, LRF, VD, CCM, rolling mill & Bright Bar to meet the production, maintenance & quality against the plans. Maintenance the healthiness of the equipment at shop floor to ensure the production as planned. Monitoring the safety, Health and environment norms.
• Cascade the annual production plan to create rolling monthly and daily plans, ensuring that the overall production strategy is being met.
• Responsible for monitoring maintenance plan and procedure, preventive maintenance and routine maintenance.
• Take responsibility to ensure that the team imbibes the committed company's values around Customer, Safety, Employees, Excellence, Results, Integrity & Sustainability
• Manage the human resources of the unit to have an engaged, competent team and enable a working environment that drives high performance
• Organizing on the job trainings to ensure that safe working conditions are created, Ensuring the Quality Management System.
• Monitor the problems, procedures, improving efficiency and quality of processes, monitoring the Process Control Parameters and taking corrective and preventive action to make the process stable.
• Develop and implement strategies and frameworks for continuous process improvement to optimize and improve efficiency of processes in SMS, Rolling Mill & Bright Bar.
• Monitoring of safety & product quality standards, checking parameters and productivity to maintain cost efficiency etc. Taking corrective and preventive measures to ensure that all the accidents are prevented
• Drive production of steel and monitor the actual vs. planned production in order to ensure that the targets are being achieved as per the monthly plan.
• Plan, develop and implement production strategy for Operations
• Responsible for fulfilment of production targets through efficient operation.
• Ensure quality of product produced to adheres to customers satisfactions.
• Oversee and ensure adherence to maintenance, safety norms and drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency in Operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Should have experience into Alloy steel.
