Dy. Manager - Production (Transmission)

As an Assembly Manufacturing Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead the manufacturing team in achieving optimal productivity and quality control. You will be tasked with controlling costs, improving productivity on the production line, and reducing scrap and consumable waste. Your role will involve budget planning and monitoring to ensure departmental financial targets are met. To excel in this position, you will need to focus on improving SPR (Supplier Performance Rating) to above 90, analyzing defects data, and implementing effective countermeasures. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing market complaints, resolving issues, and monitoring customer satisfaction. Collaboration with internal and external departments, as well as vendors, will be essential for driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead efforts in new product establishment and oversee the transition to mass production. Ensuring adherence to training schedules for workers and staff is crucial, along with daily man management to address conflicts and disagreements promptly. Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you inspire and review the performance of your team members. Conducting gap analysis to identify production, quality, and breakdown issues will be integral to optimizing manufacturing processes. Coordinating the synchronization of parts for different models will also be part of your role. The ideal candidate for this position will hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in Production or Mechanical Engineering with 3-10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
