Dy Manager / Manager / Sr Manager - Interiors (HOTEL/Resorts Project)

Job Title: Dy Manager / Manager / Sr Manager - Interiors (Resort / Hotel Projects)

Location: Chennai

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Interior Execution & Site Management

• Lead and manage end-to-end execution of interior and fit-out works, including guest villas, public areas, F&B outlets, spa, back-of-house, and support facilities.
• Coordinate daily site activities related to interiors and ensure alignment with master construction schedules.
• Supervise interior subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce to ensure productivity and quality output.

2. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, PMCs, and Client Representatives to ensure design intent is executed accurately.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, landscape, and FF&E teams to resolve interface issues and ensure smooth progress.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates to project management.

3. Drawings, Specifications & Approvals

• Review interior drawings, shop drawings, mock-ups, material submittals, and samples prior to submission.
• Ensure timely approvals from consultants and clients to avoid delays.
• Ensure all interior works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and brand standards.

4. Quality Control & Finishing Standards

• Implement strict quality control measures to meet luxury resort finishing standards.
• Conduct inspections and snag-list clearance for all interior areas.
• Ensure workmanship meets international hospitality and resort benchmarks.

5. Planning, Budget & Cost Control

• Assist in preparation of interior work budgets, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Monitor material consumption, wastage, and subcontractor billing.
• Support QS and commercial teams in measurement verification, variations, and claims related to interiors.

6. Handover & Documentation

• Support project handover by ensuring interiors are completed snag-free.
• Prepare as-built drawings, operation manuals, and completion documentation related to interior works.
• Coordinate final inspections and handover with client and consultants.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience

• Good experience in interior execution, materials knowledge.
