Roles & Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain effective linkages with relevant government authorities at state and central levels.
Facilitate strategic stakeholder engagement initiatives at the district level to support operational objectives.
Strengthen organizational intelligence networks to proactively identify and counteract potential risks or opposition.
Develop and implement early warning systems to minimize operational disruptions.
Oversee legal strategy and ensure regulatory compliance and on time statutory approvals.
Facilitate high-level interventions to expedite critical approvals aligned with operational restart plans.
Build and nurture relationships with key regional influencers to advocate for plant restart.
Drive strategic communication efforts to ensure positive representation among decision-makers.
Support the creation and execution of rebranding and communication strategies to enhance public perception and facilitate operational continuity.
The individual to front end Vedanta’s interest and facilitate its long-term vision of being the most sustainable natural resources company.

Experience & Qualification:

Vedanta is looking to augment their presence in the state. In that regard, we are looking to bring on board a senior strategic leader, who will anchor the accelerated growth of group companies like Sterlite Copper in the state of Tamil Nadu.
