Duty Doctor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified MBBS Duty Doctor to provide round-the-clock medical care to patients, assist consultants, and ensure smooth medical operations in the hospital. The duty doctor will be responsible for patient assessment, emergency management, treatment, and coordination with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care and attend to patients in wards, ICU, ER, and OPD as assigned.
• Perform initial assessment, clinical examination, and documentation of patient history.
• Monitor and manage patient progress, update records, and report to consultants.
• Handle medical emergencies, stabilize patients, and escalate critical cases to specialists.
• Prescribe medicines, order investigations, and interpret diagnostic results.
• Ensure timely rounds in wards and respond to patient/attendant queries.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, paramedics, and other departments for patient care.
• Maintain accurate case sheets, medical notes, and discharge summaries.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety guidelines.
• Provide support in surgical and medical procedures as required.
• Participate in on-call duties, night shifts, and emergency rosters.

Qualifications & Skills:

• MBBS degree from a recognized university/institution.
• Valid registration with State/National Medical Council.
• Minimum 0–2 years of clinical experience
• Strong clinical knowledge, patient management, and emergency handling skills

Employment Type: Full-time / Rotational Shifts

Salary: As per industry standards / Negotiable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
