Description

The Ducting Chargehand is responsible for overseeing the installation and management of ducting systems in various construction projects. This role requires extensive experience in HVAC systems and involves leading a team to ensure compliance with safety standards and timely project completion.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the installation of ducting systems in various projects.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during duct installation.
Coordinate with project managers and other teams to ensure timely project completion.
Train and supervise junior staff and laborers in ducting installation techniques.
Conduct regular inspections of ductwork to ensure quality and functionality.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to ducting projects.

Skills and Qualifications

10-15 years of experience in ducting installation and management.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork design.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
