Dry Bulk broker

We are seeking a motivated and commercially astute Dry Bulk Shipbroker to join our chartering desk. The role involves matching cargo with suitable vessels, negotiating charter party terms, and maintaining strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and operators. You will play a key role in securing fixtures, understanding freight market dynamics, and generating revenue for the company. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Act as an intermediary between shipowners and charterers for dry bulk cargo. • Develop and maintain relationships with clients globally, including traders, cargo interests, and shipping companies. • Negotiate and conclude spot and time charter fixtures in the Handysize, Supramax, Ultramax, Panamax, or Capesize sectors. • Monitor market movements, freight indices, and vessel positions to advise clients. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of charter party terms, legal clauses, and operational considerations. • Prepare and present market reports and cargo/vessel lists to clients. • Liaise with operations and post-fixture teams to ensure smooth execution of fixtures. • Actively contribute to team goals and business development.
