Driver

Job Summary:

The Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport employees, goods, or materials to designated locations. The role requires adherence to traffic rules, vehicle maintenance, and ensuring timely and efficient transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving & Transportation
• Safely drive company vehicles to transport staff, visitors, or goods as per instructions.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off at designated locations.
• Follow all traffic laws, rules, and regulations.
• Vehicle Maintenance
• Conduct daily checks of vehicle condition (fuel, oil, water, brakes, tires, lights, etc.).
• Report any mechanical issues to the concerned department.
• Ensure cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.
• Documentation & Records
• Maintain accurate logbooks of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and servicing.
• Ensure all vehicle documents (insurance, registration, PUC, road tax) are up to date.
• Safety & Compliance
• Adhere to all company policies regarding vehicle use.
• Ensure safety of passengers and materials during transportation.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Valid driving license (LMV/HMV as applicable).
• Good knowledge of traffic rules, road safety, and routes.
• Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Punctual, disciplined, and trustworthy.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Minimum 10th standard (or equivalent).
• Experience: 2–5 years of professional driving experience (preferably in corporate/industrial environment).
• No record of major traffic violations or accidents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
