Job Overview: We are seeking a dependable and multi-skilled Delivery Driver to manage the transportation of goods, materials, and laborers to various project sites, while also taking care of vehicle cleanliness and maintenance. The role involves picking up goods from transport companies, performing general helper duties, and assisting with other errands as needed. Strict adherence to company policies, including no-alcohol rules, is mandatory to maintain safety and professionalism. 1. Transportation Duties: Drive company vehicles to transport goods, materials, and laborers to and from project sites safely and punctually. Pick up goods and materials from transport companies or warehouses as assigned and deliver them where required. Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Load and unload goods and materials as required. 2. Vehicle Care and Maintenance: Wash all company vehicles daily, including the owner’s personal car if required, ensuring they remain clean and presentable. Perform routine vehicle checks and ensure scheduled maintenance, such as servicing, oil changes, and tire rotations, is completed on time. Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or necessary repairs immediately to the supervisor. 3. Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to traffic rules and safety regulations. Prohibited from drinking and driving. Any instance of driving under the influence of alcohol will lead to immediate termination. Ensure no intoxicated individuals are allowed in the vehicle under any circumstances. Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operations. 4. General Assistance: Assist the team as a helper with tasks such as lifting, carrying, and organizing materials when not driving. Support laborers and technicians on-site with minor tasks as needed. 5. Errand Jobs: Undertake other errands as assigned, such as purchasing supplies, collecting documents, or delivering items. 6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, vehicle maintenance, and pickups/deliveries. Ensure proper documentation for goods and materials being transported or collected. 7. Professional Conduct: Maintain polite and respectful communication with colleagues, clients, and transport personnel. Represent the company professionally to uphold its reputation. 8. Personal Driving Drive for employer's personal requirements when required.
