Job Summary:

We are looking for a multi-skilled and dependable Driver cum Maintenance Engineer who can handle both resort transportation and technical upkeep. This role requires someone who is equally confident behind the wheel and with tools — ensuring smooth guest transfers and uninterrupted resort operations in a remote forest location.

Key Responsibilities:Driving Duties:

• Drive guests, staff, and resort supplies safely to and from nearby towns and transit points.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine upkeep of resort vehicles.
• Keep vehicle logbook and fuel usage records.
• Ensure vehicle documents (insurance, pollution, etc.) are valid and up to date.

Maintenance Duties:

• Handle day-to-day maintenance tasks: electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, minor construction fixes.
• Perform preventive maintenance of electrical systems, pumps, geysers, lighting, kitchen equipment, etc.
• Coordinate with external technicians for advanced repair works.
• Monitor generator, STP/RO, and other utility equipment.
• Maintain maintenance checklist and report issues to the manager promptly.
• Support resort staff in general upkeep, landscaping tasks, and emergency repairs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in driving and technical maintenance roles.
• Valid LMV Driving License (mandatory).
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing (preferred but not mandatory if experienced).
• Ability to diagnose and fix basic MEP issues.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in forest and hilly terrain.
• Good communication skills in Malayalam; basic Hindi/English is a plus.
• Honest, dependable, and guest-friendly attitude.
