Drafting Specialist / Drafting Engineer / Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Drafting & 3D Modeling:

Create, modify, and finalize 2D/3D models and drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and AVEVA. Deliver GA drawings, part drawings, and isometric drawings for a wide range of equipment, including vessels, piping, valves, pumps, compressors, base frames, pump skids, and complete skid layouts.

BOM & Fabrication Drawings:

Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and fabrication-ready drawings from assembly designs, ensuring adherence to engineering and fabrication standards.

Project Documentation:

Prepare and maintain full project documentation packages, including VDRL, ITP, GA drawings, datasheets, MRB files, and technical dossiers, ensuring timely submission and client approval.

Client Interface & Technical Review:

Coordinate with client project teams to update, review, and finalize drawings and documentation. Provide support during VDRL meetings and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

Quality Compliance & Documentation Control:

Ensure all engineering drawings meet required standards and client specifications. Maintain proper version control, change tracking, revision logs, and document transmittals as per QA/QC protocols.

ERP & Inventory System Support:

Support tasks related to the organizations ERP system (MS Dynamics). Generate sales and inventory reports and assist with system enhancement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Support proposal, procurement, and fabrication teams with accurate and timely technical documentation throughout project lifecycles.

Sub-Vendor Coordination:

Work with external vendors (painting, testing, etc.) to prepare procedures and secure necessary client approvals.

Additional Responsibilities:

Carry out administrative, project coordination, and other tasks assigned by management or supervisors.
