Drafting & GIS Specialist

We are lookingfor a skilled Drafting C GIS Specialist to support SXU,MXU, and NGM network projects, including As-Built documentation. The role focuses on creating, updating, and maintaining accuratedrafting and GIS records usingCAD, ArcGIS, and SpatialNet. The specialist will ensure all network documentation, including As-Built updates, is precise, up-to- date, and alignedwith engineering and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update drafting documentation and As-Built records for SXU, MXU, and NGM networks using CAD, ArcGIS, and SpatialNet.
• Maintain accurate GIS maps and network asset layouts reflecting as-built conditions.
• Validate drafting and As-Built data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with projectstandards.
• Create and maintain cross-sections, annotations, dimensions, and utility adjustments inCAD.
• Support field and engineering teams by providing accurate drafting outputs and As-Built updates.
• Maintain proper version control and documentation of all drafting deliverables.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering,

  Electrical Engineering

  Electronics s Communication

  Geoinformatics

  GIS

  Drafting Technology

  , or a related technical discipline.
• Certification in

  AutoCAD

  ,

  GIS

  SpatialNet

  (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience

• 3+ years of experience

  in telecom drafting, GIS mapping, or As-Built documentation for SXU/MXU/NGM or similar fibernetwork environments.
• Experience working with CAD, ArcGIS, and SpatialNet in real-world telecom or utility projects.
• Prior experience supporting field survey teams or engineering teams for network documentation is an added advantage.

Required Skills s Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CAD, ArcGIS, and SpatialNet for telecom network drafting and As-Built documentation.
• Strong knowledge of SXU, MXU, and NGM network drafting and As-Built standards.
• Basic understanding of fiber network layout, utilities, and infrastructure placement.
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver precise drafting outputs.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with multi-disciplinaryteams.
