Domestic Homologation Certification and Application Management

As a Vehicle Homologation Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing homologation projects within the set time and budget constraints. Your key responsibilities will include: - Interacting with test agencies such as ARAI, ICAT, NATRAX, GARC, CIRT, and other related authorities to address homologation issues effectively. - Ensuring 100% compliance of production vehicles and components as per CMVR regulations. - Coordinating with various internal agencies within the company (Design, Carline/QA/SC, etc.) to meet vehicle homologation requirements. - Updating the VAHAN system and managing data in alignment with vehicle certificates. - Developing worst-case proposals and planning testing vehicles accordingly. - Providing on-ground support for project execution and homologation activities. - Planning budgets for type approval tests, test vehicles/parts, regulatory compliance, technical upgrades, testing equipment, technical standards, logistics, etc. - Collaborating with SMC for Homologation Planning, troubleshooting test failures, technical support, parts/vehicle requirements, etc. In addition to the responsibilities mentioned, it is essential for you to possess the following qualifications: - Understanding of CMVR/AIS/IS/ECE/EEC regulations and relevant standards like ISO. - Experience in handling certification work and witnessing homologation testing for Passenger car (M1) and Cargo (N1). - Clear comprehension of regulations and test procedures specific to India. - Long-term commitment to the organization with a flexible approach. - Team player with a willingness to learn and a confident attitude. - Openness to travel and attend overseas trainings. - Strong project management skills to ensure timely completion of homologation projects. - Emphasis on core values such as networking and partnership.
