Full Time
1) Supervises operators and helpers in specific area (receiving, manual sorting, dismantling, feeding, blending).
2) Ensures correct weighing, tagging and stacking of incoming PCB / ewaste;
3) Verifies segregation (highgrade / lowgrade PCB, copperrich items, hazardous parts, plastics etc.);
4) Checks that only permitted material goes to each shredder;
5) Ensures line checks, cleaning and housekeeping;
6) Conducts basic safety talks and toolbox meetings;
7) Reports abnormalities to Shift Incharge.
Industry Preference
1) Authorised ewaste dismantlers, refurbishers and recyclers 2) Drywaste Material Recovery Facilities and scrapsorting facilities
3) Foundry / secondary metal units handling large volumes of scrap
4) Coprocessing or solidwaste shredding facilities.
5) Candidates from informal sector who have moved into formal dismantling / recycling units.
Qualification Experience
Diploma in Chemical / Metallurgical / Mechanical / Production / Environmental with strong relevant experience from ewaste / scrap sector; 2 5 yrs in dismantling / scrap / solidwaste operations.
