Job Description

  • Monitor operational controls, implement security controls, and manage risk to protect against cyber attacks.
  • Manage security monitoring systems, including intrusion detection and prevention, to promptly respond to incidents.
  • Identify emerging threats, attack techniques, and technologies to detect and prevent incidents.
  • Analyze security information and event management systems to collect, correlate, and analyze logs, events, and alerts.
  • Triage data loss prevention alerts to identify and prevent sensitive data exfiltration from the bank's network.
  • Manage cyber security incidents, including remediation and closure.
Job Requirements
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Experience working remotely under direct line management supervision.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree required; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experienced user of electronic communications such as email and internet.
  • Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of Data Leakage threats and mitigations.
  • In-depth technical knowledge and experience in assigned area of expertise.
  • Thorough understanding of underlying principles and concepts within the area of expertise.
  • Lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development, allocating work requirements, and coordinating resources.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors to foster an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver excellence.
  • Partner with other functions and business areas, taking responsibility for end results of operational processing and activities.
  • Escalate breaches of policies/procedures appropriately and take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
  • Deliver work and responsibilities in line with relevant rules, regulations, and codes of conduct.
  • Maintain and continually build understanding of how own sub-function integrates with the function, alongside knowledge of the organization's products, services, and processes.
  • Demonstrate understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to achieving organizational objectives.
  • Make evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information, paying attention to detail.
  • Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through application of acquired technical experience and precedents.
  • Guide and persuade team members, communicating complex/sensitive information.
  • Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, building a network of contacts outside the team and external to the organization.
