Role Overview: You will be joining the OSTTRA Technology team as a Distinguished Engineer, based in Gurgaon, India. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for developing architectures and systems iteratively, serving as a point of escalation for complex technical challenges, and achieving measurable impact across various teams within the company. Your role will involve leading the design and architecture of sophisticated post-trade solutions, collaborating with fellow architects and engineers, and driving the adoption of best practices and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop architectures and systems iteratively to ensure long-term durability. - Act as an escalation point for teams facing highly complex technical challenges. - Drive measurable impact across different teams. - Lead the design and architecture of advanced post-trade solutions for scalability and optimal performance. - Collaborate with peers to develop efficient technical solutions. - Identify and address technical challenges with effective solutions. - Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to post-trade processes. - Lead research and development initiatives to introduce innovative solutions. - Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance post-trade systems" efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 8-10 years of experience in an engineering-related hands-on role. - Expertise in Java programming language and associated frameworks. - In-depth knowledge of post-trade processes and technologies. - Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Previous experience in post-trade systems within the financial sector is highly desirable. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.,
