Job description:

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule drivers and fleet to meet customer requirements, to optimize revenue and to increase driver satisfaction
• Communicate load details and requirements to drivers
• Develop relationships with carriers, and work with Sales team to generate new opportunities based on carriers’ capacity
• Respond to customer inquires, send daily reports, and update on delays or issues with loads
• Update customer’s portal
• Work with Drivers to resolve their issues, and match routes/schedule according to their preference
• Keep track of waiting time and other accessorial charges, and update the orders on daily basis
• Review driver’s logbook and optimize the scheduling to generate maximum revenue
• Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure trucks and trailers are ready before the trip
• Make sure drivers are familiar with company policies and safety procedure and keep Safety as number one priority for all assignments
• Keep track all assets, and reduce asset dormancy

Requirement

• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role
• Proven track record of managing drivers, and good attitude with interpersonal skills
• Customer service experience is an asset
• Proven ability of multi tasking, and ability to work in high paced environment
• Good verbal and written communication skill
