Director/VP of Business Technology

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities

• Own the

  Salesforce platform strategy and roadmap

  , aligning it with organizational vision and cross-functional priorities.
• Lead and mentor technology teams including architects, developers, analysts, and vendor/implementation partners.
  
• Serve as the executive point of contact for Salesforce initiatives with CXO and senior leadership.
  
• Establish strong governance, architectural standards, and operational frameworks for the entire Salesforce ecosystem.
  
• Drive innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across Business Technology functions.
  

Technical & Delivery Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise-wide Salesforce implementations across Sales, Service, CPQ, CLM, Finance, and Operations.
  
• Ensure robust solution design including data models, automation, workflows, and integrations.
  
• Architect integrations with CLM, ERP, Payments, Analytics, and other internal/external systems.
  
• Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, security standards, data governance, and audit requirements.
  
• Drive delivery excellence using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
  
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product to improve end-to-end business processes, reporting, and insights.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  

• 12–18+ years

  of overall experience with strong leadership in Salesforce ecosystem management.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, integrations, and platform capabilities.
  
• Experience leading large-scale Salesforce programs and multi-cloud implementations.
  
• Strong expertise in SaaS business processes across Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  
• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, CLM, financial systems, and data platforms.
  
• Strong understanding of platform security, governance, and compliance.
  
• Proven experience managing large teams and vendor ecosystems.
  

Preferred Certifications

• Salesforce Architect certifications (highly preferred)
  
• Salesforce Administrator/Advanced Admin
  
• CSM, CSPO, PMP, or SAFe

• Strong people leadership with experience in building and scaling high-performing teams.
  
• Excellent communication with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to senior business leaders.
