Job Purpose

• The VP of Data Warehousing is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall strategy, execution, and management of the data warehouse function. This role involves leading a team of architects and specialists, driving strategic initiatives, managing all projects in the domain, and serving as the key point of contact for senior leadership. The VP will shape the organizations long-term data capabilities and ensure that the infrastructure supports business growth and intelligence needs.

Key Result Areas

Lead, mentor, and grow the data warehousing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Develop and own the strategic roadmap for data warehousing and BI platforms.

Oversee the execution and delivery of all data warehousing projects from conception to completion.

Ensure data infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned to business needs.

Act as primary owner of the data warehouse (ETL, data modeling, BI integration).

Report on progress, status, and initiatives to senior management including the CTO.

Preferred Profile: -

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience

• Extensive experience in the data warehousing field with a proven track record in a senior leadership role.
• Strong domain expertise in BFSI data and regulatory environments.

Skills Required

• Comprehensive hands-on knowledge of data warehousing architecture, ETL processes, data modeling, and BI integration.
• Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams effectively.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align data initiatives with business priorities.
