Director, Valuation Services

A Director in the Financial Valuations Group at Kroll will be responsible for working on various assignments, such as business enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations (PPAs), intellectual property valuations, stock option valuations, impairment testing, transaction valuations, financial instrument valuations, portfolio valuation for alternative asset industry, and dispute consulting. The India Valuation Services practice at Kroll assists clients in meeting complex financial reporting and tax requirements by utilizing technical expertise, advanced valuation methodologies, industry knowledge, objectivity, and independence. Our team stays updated on regulatory changes and actively contributes to the development of industry standards and best practices. We are currently seeking a Director to support our Indian valuation practice. This role is suitable for professionals looking to enhance their skills and knowledge by working on valuation engagements for our clients. Your responsibilities will include client interviewing to gather relevant data, building and reviewing financial models, managing teams, maintaining operational relationships with clients, and ensuring exceptional client service. Additionally, you will be expected to develop a deep technical expertise in business valuation, share knowledge through training and mentoring, and contribute to industry-wide resources through speaking engagements and publications. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in valuations, covering a range of assignments mentioned earlier. A strong understanding of valuation concepts, accounting standards, and relevant industry standards is essential. Qualifications such as CA, Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, CFA, or MBA are preferred. Demonstrated technical, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills are required.
