Job Description

The position is based in Hyderabad and falls under the Controllership SSC Sr. Director within the worldwide Controller Organization. You will be joining a team of professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Salesforce is seeking individuals with experience in leading teams, implementing process/system improvements, ensuring SOX compliance, and preparing schedules to support various financial reviews and reporting processes. An ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, manage revenue accounting processes, analyze data, present findings to senior management, and actively participate in projects to streamline processes at Salesforce. Responsibilities: - Lead the month-end revenue close by validating accruals, reviewing account reconciliations, journal entries, reserve models, and conducting fluctuation analyses. - Ensure compliance with GAAP standards, SOX controls, and documentation, including an understanding of ASC 606. - Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to support audits by providing necessary schedules, evidence, and process overviews. - Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to automate revenue accounting processes, including data reconciliation, reporting, and analysis. - Manage a team at various levels to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. - Prepare schedules to support monthly reviews, quarterly audits, and the 10Q and 10K reporting processes. - Partner with other Finance functions to ensure alignment and collaboration. - Train, develop, coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members. - Monitor compliance with Corporate Accounting instructions and financial policies. - Quickly understand new processes and work independently with process owners to ensure timely completion and communication of changes. - Create and maintain process documentation. - Drive special projects to completion. Required Skills/Experience: - 18+ years of relevant professional experience focusing on accounting operations/Shared Service Centre in a multinational dynamic environment. - Masters/Bachelors" degree in Accountancy. Qualified CA or Semi-qualified CA with a mandatory experience of 15+ years post-qualification. - Exceptional communication and influencing skills, ability to exercise independent judgment, and work effectively across various organizational levels locally and globally. - Strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team. - Deep understanding of US SOX Compliance requirements and practical experiences. - Proficiency in ASC 606 and other revenue recognition principles. - Familiarity with ERP systems and willingness to learn quickly. Knowledge of tools such as Workday Financials, Blackline, eGRC360, Tableau, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, Slack, etc., is desirable. - Passion for process improvement and automation. - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively. - Willingness to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment. - Self-starter with the ability to self-motivate, adapt to change, and demonstrate leadership skills, including emotional intelligence.,
