Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities and qualifications required for this role: **Responsibilities and Duties:** - Develop, communicate, and execute a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with engineering goals. - Implement automation testing and continuous integration processes to accelerate release cycles. - Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. - Design and implement QA processes tailored for cloud software, focusing on scalability, performance, security, and data integrity. - Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Plan and execute product releases, ensuring thorough testing and validation of cloud software. - Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality-related issues and defects, implementing preventive actions. - Ensure adherence to industry-leading security standards and compliance requirements through security testing protocols. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** - 8 to 12 years of experience in cloud software testing, including scalability, performance, and security testing. - 8+ years of experience in a QA leadership role managing a globally distributed organization. - 5+ years of experience with test tools and automation such as Testrail, Sonarqube, Selenium, and code analysis. - Strong knowledge of industry-standard compliance and security standards for cloud-based applications. - Demonstrated leadership, team-building, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field. **Preferred Qualifications and Skills:** - 3+ years of Agile w/ Scrum project management experience. - Experience with QA vendor management.
