Job Description

You have an exciting opportunity at McDonalds for the role of Director, People Experience (Employee Experience and Engagement Platforms) based in the India Global Business Services Office. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of a world-class knowledge portal and workplace engagement technology experience. Your focus will be on optimizing technologies, driving adoption, managing special projects, and enhancing user experience to align with McDonald's strategic priorities. Your expertise in HR services and technology, along with a deep understanding of global employee experience expectations, will be crucial in driving improvements for the company and its people. **Responsibilities:** - Lead the development and implementation of a technology-enabled employee experience strategy to create a positive and inclusive work environment. - Support HR service delivery strategies to enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and efficiency while balancing strategic priorities and employee needs. - Provide thought leadership and communicate the employee experience strategy across the Global People organization. - Develop metrics to track the effectiveness of employee experience initiatives and provide insights for continuous improvement. - Own the development and implementation of improvements on current employee experience technologies aligned with broader people experience strategies. - Manage and prioritize special projects and initiatives, coordinating with markets and leveraging analytics to shape strategies. - Supervise Employee Experience Specialists and oversee the Restaurant Digital Engagement team for effective management and development of tools. - Manage service vendors, collaborate with stakeholders, and stay updated on industry trends to drive ongoing innovation in McDonald's systems. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** - Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field. - Experience in global employee experience, workplace engagement, or related field with a multinational organization. - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive large-scale organizational initiatives globally. - Strong communication skills and experience presenting strategies to leadership teams. - Proficiency in using workforce analytics and benchmarks for employee engagement strategies. - Track record of managing global teams across regions and driving cross-functional initiatives. - Experience as a people manager, fostering innovation and collaboration across markets. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience managing digital engagement tools and platforms, especially in restaurant or retail environments. - Success in managing vendors and aligning technical solutions with organizational goals. - Strong business acumen and exceptional communication skills. - Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and self-starter mentality. - Ability to influence others, build a strong business case for people as a growth driver. - Collaboration with cross-functional partners in a matrixed environment with a continuous improvement mindset.,
