Job Description

As the Director- Industry Relations at GITAM Career Guidance Centre (GCGC), your role will involve leading the Industry Relations vertical to provide career opportunities for GITAM students. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing a robust Go-To-Market strategy and outreach plan to promote GITAM as a preferred source of student talent among industrial and commercial enterprises - Engaging with corporations and industries across India to cultivate relationships with top recruiters - Building partnerships with industrial houses to create opportunities for internships, project work, and entry-level jobs for students - Identifying niche opportunities for high-potential students and facilitating placements in premium jobs and internships - Coordinating with campus career services teams to maintain quality standards of career fulfillment processes - Recruiting and leading a high-performance team focused on industry relations - Establishing satellite offices as needed and monitoring their performance - Maintaining a database of contacts and leveraging technology for efficient operations - Being accountable for quantity and quality outcomes in internships, project work, and job placements - Providing periodic updates to leadership on ongoing activities and progress - Collaborating with GITAM schools and internal stakeholders to develop outreach strategies - Being open to taking on additional responsibilities and participating in University development activities Your professional background should include: - Experience in sales and business development, particularly in selling high-value products or services to large enterprises - Proven track record in building relationships at the CXO level and exceeding sales quotas - Strong communication and team-building skills - Understanding of industry hiring trends and recruitment processes, with exposure to campus placements being desirable - Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time Educational qualifications and experience required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 10+ years of relevant experience with at least five years managing a high-performance sales team For more information about GITAM, visit their website at [https://www.gitam.edu](https://www.gitam.edu).,
