Director of Distribution - Americas

As the Director of Distribution - Americas at Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), you will be leading and managing the broadline distribution network across the Americas region. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing a comprehensive distribution strategy to drive sales growth and market share, overseeing the performance and operations of the distribution network, and building strong relationships with key distribution partners. Reporting directly to the Director of North America Sales, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product Management. Your role will involve developing and executing sales initiatives in partnership with distributors to increase product penetration, revenue, and profitability in target markets. You will also analyze sales performance data, monitor market trends, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in distribution management, sales, or business development within the electronics or communications solutions industry, with a strong background in working with broadline distributors. Leadership skills, industry knowledge, sales acumen, relationship-building abilities, analytical skills, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
