Job Description

As a Director leading the Employee Experience Systems Teams at Zendesk, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Develop and execute a Digital Employee Experience Assessment, Strategy, and 3-year plan. - Recruit, onboard, and develop talented IT Professionals and third-party providers. - Grow and mature the team to support and deliver applications end-to-end. - Create mechanisms and processes for onboarding and offboarding of business systems for your services. - Conduct monthly and quarterly business partner alignment forums with CIO leadership to enhance business relationships and expand service scope. - Build the brand of Best in class IT at scale while delivering exceptional customer service. - Manage the smooth running of all IT systems, including cloud-based applications and local hardware policies. - Develop relevant metrics, dashboards, and processes to establish a data-driven organization. - Stay current with relevant products, policies, and methods for support delivery. - Maintain a sense of humor while working in a fast-paced dynamic team. You should possess the following qualifications for this role: - 10+ years in IT Application Management, with 6+ years in management and at least 2+ years managing managers/senior managers. - Experience in application support and delivery for Digital Employee Experience applications, including Legal, Content, Collaboration, and Office Productivity tools. - Proven experience managing software vendors, including contract negotiations, monitoring performance, and collaborating for new feature introductions. - Ability to travel 10-20% and work flexible hours to connect with peers globally. - Ability to lead the team to meet deliverables and drive work to completion within specified timelines. - Collaborative, upbeat work ethic with a focus on taking ownership and having fun. Preferred Qualifications: - Passion for Digital Employee Experience and cloud tools. - Collaboration with peers in the IT Global Service Desk. - Superior leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop a diverse team. - Experience supporting internal customers and identifying ways to improve their experiences. - Flexible decision-making skills and ability to manage changing priorities effectively. - Work with colleagues and Senior leaders to deliver ideas and solutions to various audiences.
