Director - Data Quality Lead

As a Director - Data Quality Lead at Citi, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of the data quality strategy and ecosystem within Internal Audit. Your role will involve working closely with Citis Enterprise Data Office to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data across IA, supporting Citi's data transformation as a top strategic priority. Your excellent communication skills will be crucial as you negotiate internally, often at a senior level. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive IAs data quality strategy, including identifying, logging, and resolving data quality issues promptly - Coordinate and manage data quality related projects, establish priorities, and track projects to completion - Monitor and report on IA data quality, develop dashboards, and deploy tools as per EDO standards - Oversee the Data Concern Remediation Management process within IA and maintain a repository of data quality issues - Design and maintain IAs data records management program - Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy policies, laws, and regulations - Maintain the service agreement framework for IAs target operating model - Drive adoption of data controls to mitigate risks across the data lifecycle - Provide subject matter expertise across training content, communication, and change management related to data initiatives within Internal Audit **Qualifications:** - 15+ years of business management experience in a financial organization, with a focus on data risk - Advanced knowledge of Data Governance methodologies, with a focus on Data Quality preferred - Ability to execute large, complex change programs and implement Data Governance and Data Quality processes - Strong interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - Strong coordination, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Sound judgment and leadership skills with a proven track record in managing teams - Proficiency with the MS Office Suite is essential - Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred This job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
