As the Director Engineering Excellence, your role is crucial in leading the organization-wide engineering transformation through strategic leadership, innovation, and operational excellence. You will champion modern software development practices, foster high-performing teams, and drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as cloud-native architectures, AI-augmented development, and DevOps automation. Collaboration with product, delivery, and technology teams is essential to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement the engineering excellence strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives. - Lead transformation efforts including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native technologies adoption. - Drive Generative AI initiatives using tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT. - Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies like AI/ML, low-code platforms, and observability tools. - Architect scalable, secure, and user-centric software solutions. - Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams, establish performance goals, and guide career development. - Define and track KPIs for productivity, quality, and delivery timelines. - Maintain dashboards and reporting systems for visibility into team performance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. - 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles. - Expertise in software development leadership, system design, SDLC, DevOps practices, cloud strategies, quality assurance, CI/CD enablement, data governance, security & compliance, stakeholder engagement, and technical communication. - Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Solutions Architect) are desirable.,
